| Today's Special Recipe - Grapefruit Spritzer
Ingredients:
1 ½cups grapefruit juice
¼ cup sugar
1 stick of cinnamon
1 can (12 oz) ginger ale, chil
....
Preparation:
In a saucepan, combine grapefruit juice, sugar and cinnamon for the syrup; bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 5 minutes.
Discard cinnamon; cover and chill the syrup.
To serve, fill four 8 oz glasses with ice cubes.
Add about 1/3 cup of grapefruit syrup to each glass.
Fill glass with ginger ale.
Stir gently.
If desired, garnish with edible flowers and fresh mint sprigs.
Serves: 4
