- Sunflower oil 3 tablespoons

Preparation:
1. Bring the water to a boil in a small saucepan.
Remove from heat and add half the oil to it.
Add the cornmeal, stirring constantly to avoid lumps.
Cover and put over very low heat for 4 minutes.
Remove from heat, mix in the remaining oil and leave to cool. 2. When the cornmeal has cooled, add the green chilli, sugar and salt and mix in. 3. Now add the chappati flour and mix in well to avoid lumps.
This should produce a semi-stiff dough.
