Ingredients:
Pitted Prunes. . . .350 G.
Walnut Halves. . . . ½ Cup
Margarine Or Butter. . . . .2 Tbsp
Water. . . . . 1 Cup
Sugar. . . . 34 Cup
Pomegranate Syrup. . . . 1 Tbsp
Lemon. . . . . Juice Of ½ (available In Middle Eastern Groceries)
Preparation:
Stuff Each Prunes With The Walnut Halves.
Heat Butter Or Margarine In A Sauce Pan And Sauté For About 5 Minutes.
Add The Sugar, Water, Pomegranate Syrup, And Lemon Juice.
Simmer, Uncovered, Over A Low Heat For About 20 Minutes Or Until Tender And A Thick Syrup Is Formed.
Serves As A Side Dish.
Serve: 6 - 8
